Twenty-five energetic and enthusiastic students from the University of Tulsa planted over 70 trees on the new Catholic Charities campus on Saturday, March 6th. As a part of a larger community service project, over 500 TU students assisted a number of causes and organizations around the city of Tulsa. Catholic Charities was blessed to have a group who literally “dug in” from the moment they arrived. Digging holes, prepping the soil, carrying trees, replacing sod, and mulching the finished product were the actions for the day. Though no one had tree planting experience, they were quick learners and did an outstanding job for us. Thank you all for your help in making our campus more beautiful and welcoming to those we serve.
