Thinking about an abortion?
Sometimes it may seem that abortion is the only option when you don't have the support of the father of the baby, your parents, or friends. Maybe you need help with food, clothing, housing, medical care, supplies for the baby, etc. It may feel scary to look at what lies ahead when you feel alone or a little different because you are pregnant. It is hard to imagine going through pregnancy alone.
You are not alone. We can help. You deserve better!
Abortion is a permanent, unneeded solution to the temporary condition of pregnancy. Being pregnant changes things, but not necessarily forever and not necessarily for the worse. Keeping your baby or placing your child up for adoption may be too much to handle right now, but right now is the time to slow down and think each option through.
The very best decision you can make is one that has been well thought out and planned. Make a choice you will be happy with for the rest of your life. It takes TIME, THOUGHT AND PATIENCE. Please try not to make a quick and impulsive decision regarding your pregnancy. Deciding what to do about your pregnancy is one of the most significant decisions you will ever make. Ask yourself some questions about each choice. Write down your answers and read them several times before making your ultimate decision. There are no simple answers. Find a solution that you will be proud of and feel really good about.
We want you to know this because many who have had abortions say they did not have support and felt all alone, or they rushed into the decision. Some wanted help but it seemed there was nowhere to turn. They could not imagine going through their pregnancy alone. Now, they regret their abortion. Your decision about your pregnancy should not be one you regret.
